BELMONT — Work on Belmont’s bridge project is scheduled to close Highway 101 in both directions in the area over the next two weeks.
In the northbound direction, the highway will be closed for four consecutive nights between Ralston Avenue/Marine Parkway in Belmont and Hillsdale Boulevard in San Mateo from 12:30 a.m. to 4 a.m., starting Monday and continuing through Thursday.
Along the southbound route, the highway will be closed for four consecutive nights between those same intersections from 1 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. beginning Aug. 15 and lasting until Aug 18.
There will be detour signs.
The closures are needed to paint the Ralston Avenue bike-pedestrian overpass.
